Terminal boxes KZG-VEL are intended for connection and branching of heating cables with plane cross section in AC and DC circuits of electrical units for
chemical, gas, oil and other industries.
The possibility to install clamps for various currents.
The wide range of materials for box manufacturing: plastic, aluminum, construction steel with corrosion-resistant coating or stainless steel.
The possibility to install additional indicators on boxes, for example, for indication of terminal energization.
Boxes consist of enclosure, in which terminal clamp blocks are located, and on side walls explosionproof cable glands are installed. Moreover,
installation of explosionproof LED indicator of IS type is possible.
Cable gland rack is located:
from D side – for boxes KZGP(M)-VEL3.1 and KZGP(M)-VEL3.2,
from C side – for boxes KZGP(M)-VEL2.2.

1. First, make a required number of holes in the seal, then route the cable through the rack, seal and swivel nut as in the figure. Maximum 200 mm of cable can overlap the ring edge. Fasten the rack with U-bolt (not included in the package).
2. Install the seal with cables in the rack slot, install the nozzle and fix with swivel nut.
3. Install enclosure at the rack, line the gasket and fasten the enclosure with M42 nut.
4. Perform wire routing and ground cable armors.
5. Route the power cable through cable gland VK-VEL-M32. The second cable gland VK-VEL-M32 is closed with plug; if necessary, remove the plug and connect transit cable.
